Customer Reviews
Thank you to every customer who has chosen us
I got this to use with my daughter when she gets frustrated and doesn't really know how to explain what's wrong. We look through the pictures together and talk about them. It's been helpful for starting those conversations.
I teach little kids and wanted something simple to use during morning check-ins. The tabs make it easy to flip to different sections without searching through everything. Pretty practical for the classroom.
He mostly likes pointing at the different faces and telling me which ones he recognizes ๐ It gives us something to talk about, which was really what I wanted. Glad I picked it up.
I put this with the other things in our calm-down area. My kids don't always want to talk right away, so having pictures to look at helps sometimes. Simple idea, but useful.
I have bought loose cards before, and they always end up all over the place. I like having everything together in one flipbook. Makes it easier to grab when I need it.
Some of the feelings are easy for the kids to name, and others take a little explaining. I use the different situations to ask questions and see what they think. Works well as a little teaching activity.
Nothing complicated, which I appreciate. We look at a page, talk about the feeling, and move on. My youngest needs help with some of the words, but that's also why I wanted it.
I originally bought this for planned activities, but now I sometimes pull it out when we're talking about something that happened at school. It's nice to have an example to refer to instead of just asking a bunch of questions.
I wanted my class to think more about how their friends might feel in different situations. The scenarios give us something specific to discuss. I usually ask the kids what they think is happening and let them explain.
It is easy to understand and doesn't require much setup. I do wish all learning activities were this simple to pull out and use. The tabs are a nice touch.
I work at a small daycare, and we are always looking for things to add to our learning activities. This has been a convenient option for talking about feelings with the kids. We use it with adult guidance.
She sometimes asks why a person might feel a certain way, and that leads to conversations I probably wouldn't have thought to start myself. We've only been using it for a little while, but so far I like it.
I keep it near our other social-emotional learning materials. It's useful when I need a quick activity or want to talk through a situation with a student. Not flashy, just practical.
We talk about happy and sad all the time, but I wanted to introduce more words for feelings. This gives us different examples to look at together. Some days we spend five minutes with it, other days we don't use it at all.
I bought it because I wanted something visual to use when talking about emotions with young children. It's easy to bring out when needed, and the different sections give us a few ways to approach the conversation. So far, it's been a useful addition to our materials.
